Vol. 2 Issue 3 is the third issue of the second The Darkness comic series volume published from 2002.

Synopsis Edit

Captured by the Triplets, Jackie must find a way to escape.

Jackie gets attacked by one of the Triplets, named Tank. He gets repeatedly punched by the Tank.

Elsewhere, Paulie slaps his girlfriend Marla for not making him a sandwich. Marla then curses him and proceeds to leave while Paulie threatens her.

Meanwhile, the Triplets tie Jackie to a wall with chains. Jackie makes fun of O'Malley, reminding the last time they met. He then proceeds to break a lamp and unleash the Darkness on the Triplets.

Later, Paulie is informed that Jackie got away and killed the Triplets in the process. He goes into rage and breaks his phone.

Elsewhere, the mob has gathered at a restaurant, talking over what to do with Jackie and Paulie.

The next day, Jackie sits at a cafe and meets Butcher Joyce. Jackie asks Butcher to help him takedown Paulie, but Butcher answers that he doesn't take sides. Jackie then proceeds to leave.

Meanwhile, Paulie and his henchman leave to take care of Jackie.

Later, Jackie meets with Frankie's old crew. Jackie declares that he will take over the family, but first he needs to prove himself by stopping an Algerian drug smuggling spot. As he goes to the warehouse, Paulie can be seen watching him from the shadows. To be continued...
