The realm of Hell is a prison dimension where the Darkness holds a degree of influence. A place of shadows and dark creatures, Hell - also called the Otherworld or No Man's Land- bends to the will of the Darkness; it is here where it imprisoned the Angelus and torments its hosts.
History[]
Early Years[]
At some point in its history, a host of the Darkness was able to vanquish the Angelus in immortal combat and imprison its essence in Hell. Since its entombment, the Angelus has been seeking both another host and a pawn to free it from its torment and seek revenge on the Darkness.
During World War I, the Darkness - as custodian of the dead - laid claim to the souls of both British and German soldiers who fell fighting in No Man's Land. In Hell, these soldiers are condemned to relive their deaths in an eternal loop as they are reanimated each time they die.
